That's our house!

This pic was taken from my dad's hill...that's our new house...can you believe it?! Matt's been busily working on the inside. The painting is finally done, now working on the floors. We are hoping to be in soon!

Progress!

Our house is coming along...actually a lot quicker than I originally thought. You can see the outside for yourself...check out the pics. Matt is working on the inside. We have started to pick out flooring, cabinets, countertops, paint colors...you name it. It's fun but hard to choose; so many choices.

It's amazing already!

Well, the house has come a long way since my last post. I don't think I need to say much...the pictures will speak for themselves.

Buildin' on up!

Yes, we are still building a new house...just haven't had a lot of time to post a new message. The basement is done, the first level floor is down and the walls are up, now we are just waiting for the rafters. Once they arrive we will back in business and scurrying around to get it buttoned up. The snowfall the other day was not real promising that the weather will hold out until the house it closed up, but we are sure hoping it will. Stay tuned for more pics soon!

The Basement!

Once the blocks were laid and the doors and windows were boxed out it was time for concrete...lots of it. Matt pumped 50 yds. into the walls. As Matt walked the perimeter pumping in the concrete the other guys helping out were watching for blow-outs, using rods to push the concrete down into the depths of the walls, checking to make sure things were level, etc. It was quite the process.

The hose used to pump the concrete into the walls.
