The Basement!
Once the blocks were laid and the doors and windows were boxed out it was time for concrete...lots of it. Matt pumped 50 yds. into the walls. As Matt walked the perimeter pumping in the concrete the other guys helping out were watching for blow-outs, using rods to push the concrete down into the depths of the walls, checking to make sure things were level, etc. It was quite the process.

The Hole!
Matt is very busy...between being a dad (a husband too:), working the farm, and building a house he is certainly spreading himself thin. He excavated the hole in about a week and started to lay the Logix blocks. This took some time, especially since he made sure the blocks were perfect. The pics give you a good idea of the shape of the house.
